| Hail Storm Pounds Trenton |
A look at the almost 4" hail that fell in trenton, knocking out windows all over down, and causing widespread boarding up of buildings.
Almost a dozen Operators responded to the storms and provided information to the national weather service.

| Amateur Radio Groups Respond to severe weather |
Amateur Radio storm spotter groups provided critical ground truth information to the national weather service on the tornadoes that moved through the area
Other Operators also provided information to grundy county EOC as storms pounded grundy county.

| Volunteers Sought for Public Service Events |
Grundy County ARES is seeking volunteers for several summer upcoming public service events.
Any Amateur radio operator in north central missouri is being asked to help out this summer for several public service event chances across north central missouri.
Events in grundy and Linn counties are events that are being considered for possible deployments.

| CERT Classes for Trenton. |
The Grundy County Local Emergency Planning Committee is seeking volunteers for a Community Emergency Response Team.
The CERT program trains community volunteers in disaster survival and basic rescue skills. CERT teams can be called on to assist emergency personnel in case of a disaster.
All Amateur Radio Operators in Grundy Couny are encouraged to attend these courses, which are free.

| CERT Classes Started In county. |
The Galt Fire Protection District recently started CERT Classes. CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams) Are teams used to augment first responders in the event of a major disaster.
Other County Fire Departments will be having CERT Trainings coming up through-out the year.
All Amateur Radio Operators in Grundy Couny are encouraged to attend these courses, which are free.

Grundy County Amateur Radio Emergency Services is developing a plan to host an amateur radio/Public Safety Workshop.
The Workshop would be geared toward promoteing better understanding of amateur radio amungst Public Safety Personal, The Workshop would also inform area and regional Amateru Radio Operators of new systems benefiting Amateur Radio Emergency Services.
