Trenton, Missouri, May 24, 2004 --  
Amateur Radio Operators from throughout northern Missouri were busy late yesterday afternoon
tracking dangerous storms through the area. 

Operators started tracking storms around 2:30pm
and Amateur radio Operators provided dozens of reports of tornadoes, 
high winds, and hail across northern Missouri.

Glen Briggs, The Coordinator for Grundy county Amateur Radio Emergency Services Stated
that Operators were ready to support Emergency Communications in the effected counties
should the need arise.

North Central missouri Skywarn repesents over 50 storm spotters from northern missouri. 
and provides reports of weather events to the national weather service, 
as well local emergency services operation centers.
