 PTA Officers

A good working relationship among parents, the school staff and the community is essential in providing a good learning environment and life for our children. The PTA is the best organization to achieve this goal of partnership.

PTA provides information to parent leaders about programs that complement and support the work done in school. PTA helps parents, teachers and principals express ideas and concerns to each other on behalf of children and youth.

PTA has worked for school bonds, safe schools, kindergartens, qualified teachers, school lunches and bus safety. PTA continues the effort against alcohol and drug abuse, child abuse, TV violence and tuition tax credits.

The Mission and Objects of PTA

• to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
• to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and
• to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

We would like to invite every parent, teacher, grandparent, and interested individual in this community to become an active PTA member. The only requirement for joining is that you care about our children.
